Founder of Bucket List boston

Kate Weiser

"Bucket List Boston started as a way to document my favorite finds—now it’s a love letter to the city that always keeps me exploring."

Kate Weiser is the creative force behind Bucket List Boston, where her passion for storytelling and exploration comes to life. A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication and the Kilachand Honors College, she’s made the city her canvas—capturing its charm with the heart of a true Bostonian.

Before launching her own venture, Kate built her career at two standout Boston brands: Life Alive Cafes, where she served as Senior Marketing Manager, and Joyraft, a startup designed to help people discover local experiences. These roles sharpened her skills in brand strategy, content creation, and community engagement.

Now, through Bucket List Boston, Kate blends her background in PR, journalism, and social media to spotlight the best of the city.

Her mission? To inspire others to explore, discover, and check off their own Boston bucket list—one unforgettable experience at a time.

About

Meet The Rest of the Team

Annie Ellis, Assistant

Annie graduated with a degree in Communications, Entertainment & Tourism from California State University Fullerton and set her sights on moving to Boston. After reaching out to Kate during one of Bucket List Boston's "Office Hours" sessions, Annie's enthusiasm and eagerness to contribute were unmistakable. As a result, she became the very first Bucket List Boston employee. With her commitment to curating unforgettable experiences, Annie is an integral part of making Boston's hidden gems come alive.

Teresa Fernandez, Assistant

After relocating to Boston with her husband and 2 energetic boys, Bucket List Boston was the very first local account I followed. As a former event planner with 15 years of experience and a degree in multimedia journalism - Teresa works behind the scenes with Kate to keep things running smoothly so the community can continue discovering the best of Boston.
